[Solved] No user agent was created by nossibe
Hy,
I try to install Joomdle to link between two sites, each with its different servers.
The connection is not made between Joomla and Moodle :
I contacted my Moodle site web host to know if a security could block the connection.
They told me Joomdle is blocked because it does not have user agent.
Do you have a solution?
Regards
( Sorry for my bad english, I'm french)

Are you able to provide further details? Eg. What do they mean by user agent? In Moodle you have users, roles, groups, user capabilities, etc. I am making the assumption that you have installed and configured Moodle as per the Installation Documentation.

I guess he is talking about Joomdle web services connection. which does not send user agent string.
If your host is blocking the connection because of that (this is the first time someone has this issue, that we know of) maybe you can ask them to "whitelist" your server IP.
Right now, there is no way in Joomdle to add user agent to web service calls, unless you modify the code to add them.

Thank you Chris and Antonio
These are two shared servers, so they can not put whitelist without compromising their safety.
My Moodle host is O2switch, this is the best known in France to host Moodle.
Would it be possible for you to add a user-agent? Or do you prefer that I add it from my side?
Regards

Ok, we can try adding user-agent, and if that fixes your problem, we can include it for a next release.
Easiest way would be that you send your Moodle URL to development@joomdle.com, along with needed Moodle token, so I can to a connection test from here.
As you need to add user-agent in several places, I think it is better to just do a little test first.

For anyone reading this: this finally had nothing to do with user agent.
