[Solved] Moodle User Joomdle authentication unable to login was created by vipin kashyap
Joomla 3.4.1
Moodle 2.8.5+
Joomdle installed. User created in Moodle shows as logged-in user in Joomla.
Problem: Moodle user with authentication set as Joomdle when provides credentials at 'http://172.16.___.___/moodle' gets redirected to http://localhost/index.php?option=com_joomdle&view=joomdle&task=login&data=ZG...............&wantsurl=
Here, if localhost is changed to server IP it goes to http://localhost/moodle where if localhost again changed to Server IP we get main page for demo user.
Please help.

I am sorry but I did not understand what you mean with localhost and 172....
Maybe you have localhost configured in joomdle config in joomla or moodle?

Hi Antonio,

Thanks so much for the clue. It was 'localhost' configured at both places viz. Joomla and Moodle sites, in Joomdle configs. Changed that to our private IP and the setup works. Thanks again, vipin.
