Hello,

Using moodle-latest-3.6.2.tgz, and/joomdle_v1.2.3, extracting the zips into the plugin directory, then visiting Administration and accepting to update the database, I get:

auth_joomdle
Exception - Call to undefined method cache_disabled::purge_current_user()

More information about this error

×Debug info:
Error code: generalexceptionmessage
×Stack trace:
line 131 of /user/lib.php: Error thrown
line 81 of /auth/joomdle/db/install.php: call to user_create_user()
line 29 of /auth/joomdle/db/install.php: call to joomdle_moodle_config->create_user()
line 610 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to xmldb_auth_joomdle_install()
line 1852 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to upgrade_plugins()
line 694 of /admin/index.php: call to upgrade_noncore()

After passing this error , a retry on the update leads to 'Success"

User Joomdle Connector joomdle@donotdeletemeplease.com is present.

However, Manage Tokens shows "Nothing to display"
moodle.localdomain/admin/settings.php?section=webservicetokens

But I thought there should be a token automatically created.

Best wishes

Hi.

Please look here:
tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-64719

You can apply the change before installing Joomdle, and remove it afterwards. We are still waiting for a reply from Moodle. If they don't give one soon, we may need to modify our install process to work around the problem.

The fix in the link does work. Also they say in that thread there is an imminent patch to Moodle. Perhaps it is already included in the latest release 1.3.6.3
