Is this possible? was created by Eric vanBok
I have Joomdle working on a website already. It is working great. I have a question if something is possible though.
I am adding a second Joomla website that needs access to the same courses in Moodle as the first website. Is it possible to have two different Joomla websites, set up with Joomdle, and have them access the same instance of Moodle?
That would greatly simplify things so that I don't have to duplicate the Moodle content.
I am just looking to see what is possible in this situation and if anyone has any other ideas on how I can do this without duplicating the content.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and guidance.

Hi.
I am sorry, but that is not possible. It has been brought up in the past, but we decided it was not worth it, as it would complicate things a lot.

Yes. It does complicate things a lot, but duplicating courses for a "white label" replication of courses is even a bigger mess. I am going to have to find a solution to this so that every time I need to edit a course I don't need to edit it within two Moodle instances.

What I meant is that it would complicate things in Joomdle codebase, in such a way that is not worth it, from our point of view.
I know your situation is complicated, as you are not the first to ask. Maybe you could use one Moodle as a LTI provider and then the other one(s) cosume the courses:
docs.moodle.org/38/en/Publish_as_LTI_tool
I have never tried this functonality, so I am not sure how it works.
