Use cURL instead Fopen

Hello,

Moodle, joomdle and Joomla is in the latest official release.
I am working for a test environment for a company (to test the possibilities).
Unfortunately my hoster is not allowing URL_fopen. They told me I have to use cURL instead. I was investigating the net and I found nothing helpful. My short question for not wasting time is: Is it possible to use cURL with Joomdle or do I have to change the hoster?

Hi,

right now Joomdle is coded wit only URL_fopen support. I already have thought of a possible change to using cURL, but nothing has been done yet. Ideally I would like to have the two options, but that would require a bit more work, so I am not sure when this will be done.
