AT Wits end! - Web Services Issues was created by phil shryock
I have succesfully used joomdle on my desktop for weeks. No problems. So I decided to move it to our live hosted site. Everything went ok, except for web services. I get the following error: Web Services - You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted host list. I have done that and Moodle say my web site is a trusted host. I also have DNS doctoring enabled.

Secondly if I look at Joomdle Users I get the following message: XML-RPC Error (7021): The transport method you are trying to use is not permitted.

My OS Debian. I am using moodle 1.8.xx and the latest release of joomla

Any help would be really appreciated.
Last edit: 15 years 9 months ago by phil shryock. Reason: Warning Messages Disappeared when I clear joomla cache. and the XML-RPC error re appeared

I have not resolved the problem. I read over and attempted the suggested actions and could not resolve the problem. I have used joomdle successfully for the last couple of months on Windows 7 environment using XAMPP. Was not expecting to have such a hard time getting joomdle working on Debian on our hosted environment. On Debian everything works fine except for Web services. I was spending way to much time troubleshooting and had to stop, so that I can get my project out the door. I had to switch to jfusion. I really liked joomdle integration much better, since joodle is designed exclusively to work with moodle. If I could every get the problem resolved, I would switch back to joomdle very quickly. I will continue to monitor the releases and forum for a possible fix. The ease of integrating moodle with joomla provided by joomdle really was helping me streamline my project for a seamless integration and much better presentation of moodle.
