Enrol button

Hey,
I have two questions;


I have Joomde sucessfully integrated into Joomla however the enrol button is not appearing - I have it switched on and its fully integrating into Moodle however its not appearing and when I choose the "sell on Virtuemart" I get an error symbol.

The course though is appearing on my it is integrating perfectly from Moodle as you can see; imi.pointlearn.com

I can also buy the course using the virtuemart module however it would be good to get the enrol button working however..... I was wondering if it is at all possible to replace the Enrol button with the VM "add to cart" button? This would make it quicker for my users.

Where do you see your error? I went to your website and see the four courses across the page as well as listed all products. When I list all products, I do not see any Moodle courses just the VM sample products. Are you using Joomdle R0.23 or is this post in the wrong forum?

Yes sorry this post is in the wrong forum - I am on 0.24 - if you go to the site now
imi.pointlearn.com - you will see that everything is working except the Enrol button (I was reinstalling vm when you checked it)

Any help on this is very welcome.

Hi again,

The visibility of the enroll button can be controlled in two places. The first is in the Joomdle configuration (component/joomdle/configuration) and under detail view (bottom left) you will see a number of option - the last of which says "Show enroll button". Ensure that is set to yes. However, there is an override in the menu item. When you create a new menu item, on the right you will have the option to choose different Parameters. Have a look at the Component Parameters - in there you have the ability to specify show the enroll button as well.

I added the menu item and specified enrol however its still not working however in the configuration of Joomde in the VM section the "Sell on Virtuemart" is not getting a green checkmark.

So the category id is correct and Joomdle is pulling in the description from Moodle but no enrol buttons however I suspect the issue is because the "sell on VM" is not working

mmmm not so sure about that - I have a test server with no VM at all and not even configured for VM yet the enroll button is showing up, although it doesn't work correctly. But this could be the logic of the code to show the enroll even without VM so that students can enroll directly.
