How do I manually add students to a course and have it show available under their courses?

I have tried doing this but with no luck. I have students who are in my moodle course, it shows they have a moodle account, joomla account and are a joomdle user. Despite this, when they click on My Courses, no courses are displaying.

The reason I ask this question is due to the fact that I have a course where users have to request to be in the course. I want to make sure that when I allow them into the course, that they will have access to it. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

This does sound a bit funny - they have moodle and joomla accounts. They are "joomdle" users and they are enrolled in the course. Just to ensure, which you click on my courses, you are logged into Joomla with the users account and not the admin (both Joomla and Moodle side)?

What happens when you go to look at the course, does it ask to enroll the user? Does it asked to edit profile info?

Okay, the student has requested to be entered into a course. I approved the course and the student received the confirmation email. When I look at the student's information on Joomla, it shows they are enrolled in the course, however, the student cannot access the course. They go to My Courses and it does not appear, despite being active in Joomla.

I go to the Moodle side and it shows that the student is enrolled in the course.

Nevermind, I figured it out. The student needed to clear their cache. After they did that, they were able to see the course after clicking on My Courses. Thanks for your quick response
