Dear Joomdle developers and users,

I am excited by the idea of combining the properties of Joomla and Moodle.
Therefore it is very important for me to make Joomdle run in my environment.

After intensive study of the installation guide, the forum posts and numerous attempts, I had no success.

The system check in Joodle gives me the following response:

Red Cross at Joomlde Web Services: Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin

A further review (http://localhost/joomla02/index.php?option=com_joomdle&task=ws.server&format=xmlrpc) gives me, that:

Strict Standards: Declaration of JoomdleController :: display () should be compatible with that of JController :: display () in C: 30 \ server \ moodle \ joomla02 \ components \ com_joomdle \ controller.php on line

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C: \ server \ moodle \ joomla02 \ components \ com_joomdle \ controllers \ ws.xmlrpc.php on line 500

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C: \ server \ moodle \ joomla02 \ components \ com_joomdle \ controllers \ ws.xmlrpc.php on line 527
faultString parse error. not well formed. error occurred at line 1, column 1, byte index 0 faultCode -32700

Other information that may be useful for helpers:

Systems and Config:

Joomla: 2.5.8 (http://localhost/joomla02/

Moodle: 2.4.4
Authentication> Joomdle
Joomla URL = http://localhost/joomla02/
Joomla version = 1.6/1.7/2.5
Method = cURL
Sync users to Joomla = no
Joomla default language = "empty" because multilanguage in joomla is disabled

...

Joomdle: 0.9
Moodle URL: http://localhost
Version = 2.x
auth token: copied out of Moolde
Internal IP: 127.0.0.1
...

I'm looking forward to helpful information

Best regards
Michael

Hi.

You need to disable E_STRICT errors in your PHP configuration.
