Hi
After re-installation of joomdleR0.9 we are still getting message "Source IP not allowed" in joomdle's health check. It is also showing the following warnings:
Warning: strncmp() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /hermes/waloraweb082/b166/moo.professionalitin/indusacademics/administrator/components/com_joomdle/helpers/content.php on line 1309

Hi Chris
Warnings resolved automatically may be server was making some issue. As I've mentioned "Joomdle Web Services : Source IP not allowed" is still there hence nothing is working.
Also noticed that moodle's 'Notifications' link is in 'Red' & not working. Shows "Page not found" while click on 'Notifications'.

Source IP not allowed is a common problem in this forum. You can find the solution in the wiki too at the bottom of the page.
www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check
As for Page not found when click on Notifications, this is Moodle code so probably something wrong with your moodle installation.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your guidance.
We installed Joomla 1.5.26 & Moodle1.9.10 on "Shared Server". This means IP 65.254.248.192 is a non-public & shared with other users too. Please confirm if this functionality allowed in Joomdle.

Non public doesn't necessarily mean public to the world. Just that webservers can be setup with an internal ip address and an external one depending on the configuration of your firewalls and routers. You can normally find the internal ip address through your cpanel. Your IT / hosting should know.

Hi Chris,
After a month the problem is still there. Under system health check we are receiving "You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list".
We've tried almost every thing including re installation of joomdle(0.9), moodle(1.9.10), joomla (1.5.26), re configuration of IP (65.254.248.192/32) under XML/RPC hostlist and now we have no idea of next.
*Please note we are using shared hosting A/c in which all the websites have the same IP i.e.65.254.248.192.
As we are unable to figure out, please help us to resolve it.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards,
shikhar

65.254.248.192 is public address, I can get access to it from the web.
The messages is asking you to add the IP to the trusted hosts lists and since you have done that it is likely that this is not the address used internally.
What happens if you try 0.0.0.0/32 or 0.0.0.0? Note: This means everybody can get access so you can only do that to test. You should also see the real IP address in the joomdle health check.

Hi Chris,
Yes, I have added 65.254.248.192/32 to the XML-RPC host list in Moodle. Besides that if I add 0.0.0.0 or 0.0.0.0/32 it shows the same message as "You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list".
I am using shared hosting service from fatcow.com and in that we have installed the moodle & joomla respectively as per following:
professionalitin.fatcow.com/indusliveclasses : No domain point.
professionalitin.fatcow.com/indusacademics : A domain is pointing to this url (i.e. www.indusacademics.com )
Please also confirm if the reason of this error is "both the sites are on same IP".
