[Solved] - Joomdle Web Services - an unexpected error was created by Maries
Today I tried to make the connection between Moodle & Joomla; installation worked fine (due to the great manuals!!)
System health check gives all green OK's except for the Web Services, an unexpected error 404 happened.
users: XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error
course request: XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error
forums: same
what's going wrong?
:S
both test-systems work under same localhost
Thnx for your help!!
Moodle 2.4.3+ (Build: 20130425)
Joomla 2.5.6

Usually this error is caused by a misconfiguration in moodle service. You can try creating it again from scratch.
You can also enable debugging in moodle to try to get more info.

Hi Antonio,
That was my first idea; completely renewed my moodle installation .. same result.
But... what I missed in the manual was the generating and the copying of the authentication string part.
(this part was not so clear in the documentation; possible suggestion in the FAQ when this occurs would be nice and helpful)
So,I generated a key, copied it into the Joomla module and.. It works fine!!
Thnx for your response!
