Enrolment issue through joomdle was created by fyer51
Hi,

I am having an issue with the enrolment method. I have created a user and purchase a product by logging in.
Order placed, but the user is not getting enrolled in that course. I have tried all possible changes that I can make with the joomdle plugin but didn't get any success. I am using:-
Moodle:-3.4.1
Joomla:- 3.5.1
Joomdle:- 1.2.1
My site's frontend is Joomla and backend is Moodle

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks.

Ok, so you have 2 Joomdle-VM related plugins installed and enabled (aside from the profile one, that is not related), correct?

Please try changing order to pending and then back to confirmed in VM backend, to see if that triggers enrolments, or if you get any errors.

Finally, how are you checking enrolments? Please check in Moodle, enrolled users course section, to confirm that users are not being enroled with a future start date.

Hi,

I have tried changing order to pending and then back to confirmed in VM backend, but still didn't get any output
The user is still not enrolled in the course. No purchased course is showing to the user's dashboard.

Thanks.

Looking at second screenshot, I see that you have not selected a courses category in Joomdle configuration in Joomla.
You need to select a VM category there. Then, when you create a new course product in Joomdle->Shop, it will be placed in that category. You need to keep it in that category for enrolments to work.
You can unpublish the category, and have the product in other categories too, but you still need to keep it in its original category, as that is what Joomdle uses to know that the product is a course.

If you already created course products, you willl need to manually add them to the category you configure in Joomdle.

We already have all the categories added in our VirtueMart but it still didn't show in joomdle as shown in screenshot 2 in the above message.
Please tell me how to show categories in joomdle.

If categories are not shown in dropdown, it is possible that you are running an older version of the Joomdle Virtuemart integration plugin. Please download and install current one and test.
