Show all Moodle course and buy throgh hikkashop

Hi

I have query related to the courses, i want to show all courses of Moodle on Joomla Custom page. If user subscribed to any plan and in that plan what so ever courses are included will show the go to course button and other course user can buy through Hikashop. When user buy the course through Hikkashop he/she should be enrolled in that course. Please let me know how to proceed with this.

Hi.

You can use the Joomdle course list view to show all courses. It links to course detail view. That view will show buy/goto course button, depending on your enrolment status.

I am struggling with the Joomdle/Hikashop integration.

Is there a way to limit a student from buying a course again after they have enrolled through Hikashop or would that be an issue on Hika shop side?

How can I limit this?

As you say, it is on the Hikashop side, as it knows about purchases, not enrolments.

Agree they only know about purchases, not enrolments.

That is part of the problem since Hikashop allows multiple purchases of the same course, but Joomdle/Moodle will only allow one enrolment.

I have enquired from them as well, but mostly it seems it is limited to a live Cart session, that you cannot add the same product twice. If it was purchased earlier in another session, it now allows another purchase of the same course.

I will wait for their feedback and let you know.

This is listing all the courses even the ones that are closed.

If the user scrolls through the list which is quite comprehensive, they can add the course if they are not logged in, but as soon as they are logged in it does not give the option to Buy, only Go to Course.



It seems a bit cluttered in comparison to the Hikashop view.

Is there not a way that the HikaPliugin can verify if the student is already registered on the course and then give them the same options?

From what I understand, you can still see the products, it just that it won't let you add them to the cart.
I don't think there's an option to hide the products you already have purchased.

But I don't really understand your setup now, as I thought you were using Hikashop to show the products, and now you are talking about Joomdle views....maybe you are just trying things out?

Well, maybe there's a way if Hikashop provides the right events...but I have checked and I don't see any we could use.
For this, you would need a way to change the add to cart button by something else via a plugin... you can ask them if this is doable, but I doubt it.
