Okay, I’m trying to install Joomdle and here is where I am at.
In following the instructions ( www.joomdle.com/wiki/Preparing_Moodle_20 ) I tried to follow their naming convention to prevent confusion on my end. I have created a user called joomdleconnector. I have used this particular user in all of the instructions. However, when I get to the step where the instructions say “Add user as authorized user for the service” they have joomla system which I haven’t seen setup in the instructions. So, I used the user joomdleconnector for this step. Then in the Create token step it uses joomla system (which wasn’t used before this step and is causing confusion on my part).
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Preparing_Moodle_20
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Installing_Joomdle_in_Moodle_2
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Prerequisites
Am I missing some documentation somewhere?
I haven’t done the “Advanced Moodle Configuration (Optional) step yet as shown here www.joomdle.com/wiki/Installing_Joomdle_in_Moodle_2
Right now I’m not seeing anything if I type in mydomain.com/joomla. It is just coming up as the joomla site without any Joomdle/Moodle. And, I’m not seeing anything in the /Moodle site URL.
I’ve uploaded and unzipped
How do you access Joomdle? Is it through the main Joomla site?
How do you “map” the course into Joomla from Moodle?
My Joomla location is in mydomain /training
Moodle is in /training/security
Thanks and sorry about so many questions.

- Auth_joomdle into the auth Moodle folder
- Block_jsgroup in the /blocks folder
- And enroll in the /enroll folder.

Hi.
You should read Joomdle doc to understand how it can be used. It is quite flexible, and different people use different functions, in different ways.
There is no "course mapping" or anything like that.

Not sure what you expect to see on joomla, aside from the joomla site. You will need to add any content you want.
Also, if you not see moodle at /moodle, I guess you have an installation problem.
