Joomdle is mis-configured in Joomla and Moodle

Hi Antonio,

I've set the IP of my Joomla website www.indusacademics.com as 65.254.248.192/32 and followed the instructions given as per www.joomdle.com/wiki/Preparing_Moodle_19 and www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check but still no luck.

I've also applied on fresh installation of Moodle1.9.10 and Joomla 1.5.26 but no improvement. The error is still coming as "You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list"

Please help us to resolve it.

As I said, it should work (or give a different error) if you add 0.0.0.0/0 to xmlrpc hosts list in moodle. If it doesn't, I don't know what the problem might be.

I have reinstalled the Joomdle component in Joomla and set the IP as 0.0.0.0/0. This change the "Joomdle Web Services" status from "You need to add your site IP to Moodle XML-RPC trusted hosts list" to the following:

Joomdle Web Services : X : Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle

(Refer the images attached here with of Moodle's "Manage authentication" panel (i.e. moodle1.png) and Joomdle's "Setting" panel (i.e. moodle2.png).)

Please also note that while we try to access the url indusacademics.com/index.php?option=com_...server&format=xmlrpc it shows the error as 500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: joomdle,xmlrpc,joomdleView.

As per your thread ( www.joomdle.com/en/forum/r024-no-longer-...ror-500?limitstart=0 ) I checked at components/administrator/com_joomdle/views and it has the needed folders (users, config...etc)

And the same time our website ( www.indusacademics.com ) is showing the "Joomdle Courses" that we have created in Moodle.
In joomla while we click over a course it is showing the blankpage.
In joomla while we try to use joomla registration page the same error 500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: joomdle,xmlrpc,joomdleView has occurred.


We are still trying to figure out the actual cause of the problem and hope the above may give you some hint.

The internal server error at indusacademics.com/index.php?option=com_...server&format=xmlrpc is causing the problem, as I have never seen that.

I have no idea why it is showing, you will need to check your logs and try to find out.
