I don't understand If you were getting the 7015 error before, you had to have this working (the IP in xml-rpc hosts).

HAve you changed anything in your server configuration? Maybe your server is listening on the ethernet interface.... I don¡t know.
If I were you I would try to use a sniffer to see the actual IPs involved in XML-RPC communication, but I don't know if you can use it/have used it before.

Try adding your ethernet address too, just in case.

Is this a production server, test or one you are setting up? Perhaps you could email your joomla superadmin id / pw and same for moodle. It may be faster and less effort for everybody to take a quick look ....

I was able to log into joomla and look around - looks OK. However, User / PW combination supplied for moodle does not allow me to login. Can you check that and send off another email. Thanks
